MySPA is a community-powered scam awareness tool. It is not:
- An official government service
- A replacement for filing a police report
- Affiliated with PDRM, MCMC, NSRC, Bank Negara Malaysia, or any government body
- A law enforcement or investigation tool
Case IDs generated by MySPA (e.g. MySPA-20260401-00001) are internal reference numbers only. They have no legal standing and do not constitute a report to any law enforcement agency. To file an official police report, visit your nearest police station or call NSRC at 997.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By sending a message to MySPA's WhatsApp number (+601116383997), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old to use MySPA. By using this service, you confirm you meet this requirement.
2. What MySPA Does
MySPA provides the following:
- Quick Flag — checks a suspicious phone number, link, or screenshot against community reports and Semak Mule data seeded from PDRM records, and returns a community-based verdict
- Full Flag — collects a structured scam incident report through a guided conversation, generates an internal case ID, and stores it in the community database
- Community database — aggregates reports to identify patterns and build collective intelligence
The Semak Mule data in MySPA's database was imported from PDRM records at a point in time. It is not a live, continuously updated feed from PDRM. For the most current Semak Mule information, always verify directly at
semakmule.rmp.gov.my.
3. Accuracy and Limitations
MySPA verdicts are community-sourced assessments, not verified findings by any authority.
- A "flagged" result means community members have reported suspicious activity associated with that contact. It does not mean the number has been confirmed as a scammer's by PDRM or any government agency.
- A "clean" or low-risk result does not guarantee the contact is safe.
- MySPA does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information in its community database.
- Do not make financial decisions based solely on MySPA results. If you are unsure, do not transfer money.
4. Your Responsibilities
By submitting any report to MySPA, you warrant that:
- You are reporting in good faith, based on a genuine experience or reasonable suspicion
- The information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You will not submit false, fabricated, or maliciously targeted reports about innocent parties
- You will not use MySPA to harass, stalk, or defame any individual or organisation
- You are the person who experienced the suspected scam, or you are reporting on behalf of someone who has explicitly asked you to do so
5. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Submit bulk, automated, or scripted queries to MySPA (scraping)
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the community database
- Submit reports about phone numbers you know to be innocent
- Impersonate another person, organisation, or government agency when using MySPA
- Use MySPA results for any commercial purpose including resale or aggregation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to MySPA's systems, databases, or infrastructure
Unauthorised access to computer systems is a criminal offence under the Computer Crimes Act 1997 (Malaysia). MySPA reserves the right to block access and report incidents to the relevant authorities.
6. Dispute and Correction
If you believe a phone number attributed to you has been incorrectly flagged in MySPA's community database, you have the right to request a review:
- Email hello@myspa.bot (subject: Dispute Request) with the phone number in question and supporting evidence
- We will review your request within 14 days
- If the flag is unsubstantiated, we will remove or correct it and notify you
- If the flag is upheld, we will explain why and provide an avenue for further escalation
This process satisfies MySPA's obligations under PDPA Malaysia's Access and Correction Principles.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, MySPA's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to your use of this service shall not exceed RM100.
MySPA is not liable for:
- Any financial loss arising from reliance on a MySPA verdict
- Indirect, consequential, or economic loss of any kind
- Loss or damage caused by third parties (including scammers) identified through MySPA
- Inaccuracies in community-submitted data
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by MySPA's negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify MySPA and its operators against any third-party claim, loss, or liability arising from:
- A report you submitted that was false, malicious, or submitted in bad faith
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law in connection with your use of MySPA
9. Independence and No Government Endorsement
MySPA is an independent, privately operated service. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with any Malaysian government ministry, agency, or statutory body.
Any future data-sharing arrangements with government agencies will be separately disclosed, subject to updated Terms, and conditional on your consent. Phase 1 of MySPA does not automatically forward any data to any government body.
10. Intellectual Property
The MySPA name, logo, and all original content on myspa.bot are owned by the MySPA operator. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
By submitting a report, you grant MySPA a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the submitted data for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy (scam intelligence, community database, future authority submissions). You retain ownership of your submission.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the Laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of MySPA shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Before commencing legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith for at least 30 days. Email hello@myspa.bot (subject: Legal Matter) to initiate this process.
12. Changes to These Terms
We will notify users of material changes via the MySPA WhatsApp channel at least 14 days before they take effect. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
